You may not know the name, but our city of Colorado Springs
is beholding to him. He was a 19th
century railroad builder who founded our fair city as a resort town. You see, railroads brought tourists and
visitors to the area from other parts of the United States and abroad. In the early days, the city was on the
junction of seven railways.
Fast forward to the 20th century when NORAD The North
American Space Defense Command was located within the city. Things really got rolling in the 1960’s! The University of Colorado at Colorado
Springs, Pikes Peak Community College, and Colorado Technical University were
established in our fair city.
Today, Colorado Springs is the home of nearly half a million
people. Here at Altitude Heating and Air
Conditioning we are proud to serve the HVAC needs of that population which
continues to grow. From all of us at
Altitude Heating and Air Conditioning to your family have a very Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year.
